Spikes quality disappointment

Shipping was fast. The Spikes upper did have large scratches in the finish when I removed it from the sealed plastic bag. I don't think Primary arms knowingly sent me a "Blem". More likely Spikes sent it out the door 'as is'. I will just live with the scratches and shoot it. Heard lots of great things about Spikes, but I won't buy their brand again. Primary Arms will get my business- they have good service!

This has got to be one of the best deals on the internet or anywhere else for this upper. I can't find it better priced, it may be out there but I've ot found it. Also, Primary Arms has one of the best customer service orientations I've run into. They say they answer questions 24/7 - I sent a question at 3:30 AM on a Sunday morning and I had an answer in 15 minutes - not one of those "we received your question and will get back you" responses you normally get. They shipped early on the first week day after my order and it was here in just a couple of days. Everything I ordered was there, in brand new boxes, and the order had been checked by at least 2 people before it went out. I'll buy here again, and have it as one of the few web sites that I've bookmarked on my computer. John
Spikes carbine upper

Wanted to do a simple build, so I went with the spikes carbine upper. I have a complete spikes carbine and it's good kit, so I decided to go carbine rather than middy(I have a bcm middy) for weight purposes, quick shipping and good comms by PA, was able to finish my final build, paired it with an h2 buffer and I'm good to go, took it to the range, zeroed it. Put a 100 rounds through it and it's gtg. Got this during the salute to Texas sale so I got 200 rounds of xm193 to boot. Everybody wins...

Great upper. Takes everything you feed it, including low powered steel cased ammo. Cycled without a hiccup. Accurate barrel. Quite pleased with this purchase.

Mated w/ a Spikes lower...they fit tight ...as they should...also replaced the M4 handguard w/ a quad rail and added Magpul rear sight...Very happy...Also, Primary's was tip-top!!
