Bought this because the dpms recon g2 .308 has a proprietary handle that cant be replaced. Dropped right in and cant be happier. No more pinched fingers on the stock!

This has to be the best value upgrade for a charging handle, hands down. It's a huge improvement over the standard latch and it's way cheaper than buying a whole new charging handle. I also like the fact that it comes with the replacement spring and pin so you have an extra if one gets lost while swapping in the new latch.

Ordered two of these charge handle latches. Excellent finish to the parts regarding color, texture and edges (nothing sharp) and the fit was perfect, no modification required.

The size seems to be very functional; certainly not over sized but larger than a stock Mil-spec latch. Very easy to find even when wearing a glove on my left hand.

Yes. Do it. If you've already got a decent charging handle, then get out the punch and spend the 5 mins to make it WAY better. Save the $$$ and buy ammo. Honestly, if mine ever craps out I'd just buy another decent basic charging handle and add a better latch again all day...

Great addition to anyone who needs or wants an extended handle. If you have issues installing this extender you don't need to be handling weapons period. Super easy install. Great addition to any sporting rifle.

Pretty decent latch. Easy to install. It helped me with the charging handle and provided some more "torque" since my scope is pretty low and far back and was getting in the way. Not any more. I would recommend. Good product for the price. Only time will tell if it lasts or breaks off. The finish is a bit "rough" and not shiny or smooth like my Stag latch. It will probably wear off fast, so 4 stars.

My scope sits very close to the charging handle, so I could spend about $50 for a new charging handle or about $10 for for the latch. It was a no brainer for me. Get the latch. It’s easy to install and works well.

Price caught my eye and they're not so big they snag on anything but big enough for a firm grip when shooting.

Hint when installing, wrap channel pliers in painter's tape and "squeeze" them in after oiling the pin. The tape will protect the finish and the pliers provide the right leverage to get the pin through.
