Best idea for AK

These things are great! The only down side for my AK I could not fix was that original mags gave no indication when they were empty. Just a loud click as the hammer fell on an empty chamber. Not good. These followers worked as advertised and provide a little bit of an edge for the AK platform. I tried these in Bulgarian, S. Korean, Yugo, and Tapco mags. Worked as advertised in all. Great product!

Weapon tech bolt hold open follower

These worked fine for all my metal Magazines for my Norinco Chinese model. They can even be easily modified to work with Magpul AK mags. The only issue I found is that when the bolt locks open when mag is empty, it is harder to release the empty mag as the bolt is putting forward pressure on it. When the mag is kicked out the bolt slams shut anyhow and does not stay open on my model, which defeats the idea of fusing them at all. The bolt may stay open on variants, but not mine, do they are of no use to me as it takes longer to reload.

They work great with both 20 and 30 round mags. Used with an enhanced safety it will keep the bolt open during mag changes, cant live without them.

Perfect in Tapco mags!

Works as discribs

Works well in all mags and head the note, it doesn't work imn Magpul and Palm. I would recommend a hold open safety to go with it as the bold slams closed when you pull the mag out.
