WeaponTech AK47 Enhanced Bolt Hold Open Follower - 3 Pack

I Put these in Tapco ak47 smooth side 30rd mags, so far ive only emptied 6 mags one time each with zero issues. I like the fact that you can feel as well as see when your last round has been fired, the bolt closes when the spent mag is removed meaning you will have to cycle the bolt to chamber the first round of a full mag unlike AR15 type rifles with a BHO & bolt release. in my mind it would still save time in a tactical scenario since you dont have to drop the hammer on an empty chamber, count, or guess when you will run dry & at the range having the bolt held open indicates the weapon is safe at a glance for the operator and other shooters.

I put these in my Tapco AK mags in no time at all. They work as described. The bolt will close once the mag is removed though. I like these followers, at least I know when I'm empty. Shipping was as expected.

I purchased a bunch of nice Yugoslavian surplus 30-round magazines just so I could have the bolt hold open feature on my Arsenal SAM7SF. Sadly the Yugo magazines would not lock up with my milled receiver SAM7SF. So I bought the WeaponTech Enhanced Bolt Hold Open Followers from Primary Arms and retrofitted all my 30-round Bulgarian Circle 10 magazines. I ordered a batch of these to upgrade some AK mags and had them installed in five minutes. They work well in both polymer and metal mags. No more spending extra money to find Yugo mags. Great idea and I will be buying more!

I have many Tapco mags and would love if they had the bolt hold open feature... well now they do! These bho followers are working great. I plan to buy a bunch more for all my AK mags. I have several surplus steel mags that I havent range tested yet. If they dont work with the bho followers I will let you know

I have been primarily buying Yugoslavian magazines because of their BHO ability. I can now with your product make any of my magazines BHO enhanced. I use both packages on 30 round, 20 round and 10 round magazines. The BHO enhancement makes for a much safer weapon and it is nice to know when you gun is jammed as opposed to out of ammunition.

I had a Romanian 40 rd mag, that I could not get the follower to return to the top for some reason. I replaced it with WeaponTech Enhanced follower and it works perfect now, saved the magazine.
