WeaponTech AK47 Enhanced Bolt Hold Open Follower - 3 Pack

Don't listen to people saying these work in magpul plastic! My magpul says 1LX50 and the follower is grooved it won't work! It doesn't work in my Thermold mags because that spring is too fat to fit in the follower. It does work in all my metal mags and it works great in the slabside Tapco mags that Primary arms sells for $10! I love a bolt hold open. I may sell all the mags that don't work with these followers and buy all Tapco slabside mags. They look traditional and work great. I hope these followers hold up to the bolt slamming against them. I have my doubts but They'll work for a while I'm sure but I can't see them lasting a lifetime of shooting.

Works perfectly and a snap to install

These work perfectly in newer tapco mags haven't tried in steel mags because all of my steel ones are yugo. This BHO in my opinion works better than the yugo mags because sometimes the bolt will skip across the follower in the yugo mags (unless I use my yugo AK they never fail) but I've never had the bolt in my Hungarian AK skip past these. Highly recommended to let you know you're empty and didn't have a FTF.

Works like it should...but I find it slower for tactical reloads as it is harder to pull out the empty mag as the mag has a lot of bolt tension on it and then once the mag is pulled out the bolt comes flying forward making an obnoxious sound.

These are wonderful and so easy to install even a retired old guy like me could do it! Absolutely will not work with Magpul PMags, they have to much int he way inside. However, with my other mag it was super. Locked and open as they said it would! Now I just have to be careful NOT to order Magpul PMags (not as easy as it looks.) DO have some supposed on order from another competitor, that was a mistake. WIll order from Primary Arms next time. Great company!!!!

Had some used metal magazines I bought at a gun show
Who followers were sticking.I-replaced them with the
weapontech and they operated like new.I ordered
some more,great item.

Although I haven't actually used them at the range yet, they seem to fit and function well in my two Korean tanker mags and one Romanian 30 rounder. As stated in another comment, they will not fit in Thermold mags.

I bought 6 of the weapontec BHO follower, they worked good in all my comblock metal mags. Fit was great, I only gave 4 stars because I have not used yet, only time will tell if they last. I bought a Yugo AK that requires 2-922r complaint parts to be in Magazines to be legal, also bought 6-usa made floorplates from Csspecs to make all my comblock mags legal to use with my new Yugo AK.

These are awesome. I bought 3 and love these on my PSAK.
My son has a Century AK with a milled receiver and they do not work with it.

Exactly what I expected fit great and works perfectly
