Hands down the best
Simply put, this is the best trigger on the market for the AR. I know, I know, there are triggers with a lighter, and maybe crisper pull. Let me explain. This trigger is $28...$38 if you get it with Anderson's entire lower parts kit. Out of the box, the take-up is short and smooth, the break is crisp, and the pull was an even 5lbs according to my Wheeler Professional. That's pretty impressive for a $28 trigger. HOWEVER, I paired this with a $10 JP Enterprises spring kit, and with those springs, according to the same gauge, the pull is 3.4lbs. I've used CMC drop-in triggers for years...I swore by them. But, since giving this a shot, and with the JP kit, I've got a trigger that's every bit as good, that feels just as nice, for $40...and for $40, it simply can't be beat.
Anderson Stainless Steel Trigger - Excellent
Excellent trigger! I bought it as part of an Anderson lower build kit. Just built the rifle yesterday. Have not fired it yet, but the smooth, crisp, clean break with this trigger has me itching to get to the range. Looks great, fits great, functions very smoothly. I'll buy another trigger for another carbine when they're in again.
Smooth but heavy.

Came with all the parts and the fit was perfect in my Anderson lower. I wasn’t sure how I would like the stainless look, but now that it’s in it looks great. Very smooth, short pull, but heavy. I love this trigger and would rate 5stars if the pull was lighter.
I'm happy with it

I must have gotten a good one. Resets fine, no creep. Just a heavy pull with a clean break.
Cheap trigger easily improved with a little work
by Jef -
Got this on sale not expecting much but intended to use it as trigger job practice. Took some really fine india stones to the sear surfaces and contoured the break away surfaces. Hit the sear with some grease and mounted it up in a lower I skelotonized for trigger action visibility (because I screwed it up) and everything fit and functioned as intended. With some love the trigger now has a smooth take up that really does feel like a short two stage trigger like others say then breaks clean and without a tell. Weight is still a little high, but playing around with springs leads me to believe going light might not fire harder primers. I've had much better results than what I got out of some no name mil-spec triggers I tried to smooth out.
Look somewhere else. :(

I was highly disapointed with this trigger, for being stainless steel, it has the same kind of creep on the trigger like my old SKS, i do NOT recommend this trigger, get a PSA high polished trigger instead for $30.
Trigger doesn't reset.
by Javier -
Trigger did not reset on a 556 setup. Bench shooting was fine with pauses in between shots, rapid fire was a no go.
Well ain't this a little jewel!

Perfect fit with a PSA lower and Strike Industries 60/90 degree ambi safety. No clearance or reset issues like others have experienced. Trigger is smooth with a crisp break. This is a really nice surprise for the money.
Re-set problem? Easy fix!
by Pigiron -
Don't know if this is everyone else's problem with the trigger reset but it was a pretty simple fix for me. You'll notice a slight rib around the base of the hammer. First installation I couldn't get the trigger to reset either. Rubbing on something. A 2 minute going over shows me the raised rib (very minor, look closely) is rubbing on the front of the trigger box cutout and binds the hammer. Holy smokes ... literally 30 seconds with a Dremel tool to relieve some metal and the trigger/hammer works perfectly. This setup took my trigger pull to a crisp 4 lbs. Listen/feel carefully and you'll hear a click as you start to pull the trigger, then be ready baby 'cause it's gonna break! Similar to a 2-stage pull but much less noticeable. Clean, crisp, and fairly light after that click. I recommend this trigger setup. Just pay attention to what goes on after installation and you can easily clear the problem if your trigger box is somewhat tight.
Works great and looks good

Works great and looks good. I installed this trigger on a low-cost build I'm working on with an Anderson lower.
Started Bad, Ended Great
Ordered a Standard Anderson LPK and recieved this, I thought the hammer looked cool, put it all together and POO the damn thing would only reset about 30% of the time. So I sat on the couch and worked the trigger a bunch of times and now it is the best “standard” clean breaking AR trigger I have ever bought and it has not failed me once. A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trigger with a ⭐️ Problem.
Looks nice but....

This Anderson stainless steel kit does look nice, but the trigger box that extends rearward seems to be out of spec. I had the safety selector installed in two different lowers and the trigger box will not fit under the safety selector when I try to install the trigger. It will fit if installed before the safety selector is installed but should be able to be put in and taken out without messing with the safety selector. I did try installing other triggers in the same lowers and they dropped in fine so it is not an issue with the lower receivers or safety selectors.
<br>This is not Primary Arms' fault, just lower quality Anderson parts. I cannot recommend this trigger kit to someone else. Spend a little more and get a better quality trigger in my opinion.
I would pass on this trigger, would not reset om the 2 I bought.

I thought I was making a good decision when buying 2 of these triggers. I normally write good reviews, and rarely have bad experiences, however this trigger was different. I purchased 2 of these, and the first would not reset when firing. I am extremely knowledgeable on the ar, and could not get this trigger to reset no matter what. The disconnector will not engage the hammer upon firing, which allows the hammer to ride the bolt after firing. Swapped it for another trigger, no issues. The seomd lower was asembled with the 2nd trigger several months ago. I finally finished that rifle and guess what the function test proved. The second trigger will not reset either, same issue. So my verdict on this trigger is do not waste your momey. I would look for another alternative. I do not put this on primary arms, since they did not manufacture it, however I am disappointed in anderson for dropping the ball.
Very crisp light pull
by mike -
Love this trigger, I purchased this set to upgrade the milspec trigger on my A2 300 blk rifle ( I only shoot 300 blk). The pistol lower I built with the parts kit including this setup. very crisp light pull. I like it better than the PSA nickel boron trigger and hammer on my other rifle, and it gets a lot of attention at the range :)
Perfect Basic trigger

Ordered this trigger which I received very quickly. Popped it in the rifle and it worked awesome. 3 magazines later, I am a happy guy. Will definitely buy another when needed.
Horrible quality control from Anderson. The hammer does not reset properly. The trigger has to be pushed forward to reset the hammer.
Great Inexpensive Trigger

Really smooth trigger 5.5lbs in my AR pistol. A little creep solid wall and nice break with good reset. All my other AR's have POF triggers which I really like, for the $$$ this is a very good trigger for fun builds.

NICE ! AND WILL BUY AGAIN
Out of spec, probably due to heavy coating and bad QC.
by Chris -
First time I have had this issue with an Anderson trigger, but it can not be installed due to the channel in the trigger bar being too shallow to accept the disconnect. I have every faith PA will make it right. But I probably won't be buying Anderson triggers again. The trigger is one of the most important parts of the rifle and this shows sloppy QC.

Bought a anderson kit with this kind of hammer and trigger a few weeks . Works way better than any mil spec I've tried. Great folks at primary arms !
This kit with the jp springs and a little polish makes a really nice trigger group. It comes with a bobbed hammer. Less weight means lighter springs will be more reliable. That's why i recommend the jp springs. And some polish will smooth it out. Even though its already pretty smooth. Im actually ordering another after i write this. I just hope it still has the bobbed hammer. Also its not black. Its greyish. For the price you wont get a better trigger.

PURCHASED FOR MY 1ST BUILD. DROPPED IN PERFECTLY NO PROBLEMS
Easy to install works great on my new ar build. Note: previous reviewer is correct about finish. trigger is shown black in the picture but has no finish. still works like it should.
It is a solid kit
by Tom Green
Used this on a build I helped a friend with and it is solid. Had to do a little polishing to get the fire selector to fit in place but it was very little. I plan to buy two for my personal use and two more to keep as spares in future.
