EXPO ARMS H2 BUFFER

by -

It works as intended

Great H2 weight buffer, stamped mine H2...

by -

The color coding of the bumper doesn't work for me so I took a small number stamp set I have & lightly stamped a number "2" into the face of the buffer to more easily ID it as an H2. Looks to be comparable to other manufacture's offerings costing twice as much. Wish I had picked up a few more while they were on sale.

Recommended upgrade for Carbine length Gas AR's

by -

I recently got a Carbine length gas AR and it has a significant feeling of jarring when shooting, so I tried this H2 buffer, and the quality is excellent, works great, reduced felt "jolt" in the recoil, functions just fine, brass ejects about 2:30 to 3:30 now depending on the load.

Great buffer

by

I've got 3 of these buffers in 3 different rifles, all short barrel rifles in .223, 7.62x39, and 6.5 Grendel. In all 3 rifles, the H2 buffer helped reduce felt recoil and improve reliability, especially in the 8" 7.62. No, the face isn't marked (which is obvious if you actually look at the picture of what you're buying), but this can be easily remedied if desired. The weights do rattle around inside the buffer, but this is fixable too. Remove the bumper, take out the weights, and put a little grease in the bottom of the buffer (I use SuperLube with PTFE). Put the weights back in and put another dab on top of the weights, between them and the bumper. This will prevent the weights from rattling around, and does not add enough mass to make a difference. I've been doing this to buffers for decades without issue.

Worked great in 300 Blackout

by

It came within a reasonable amount of time I put it in a 10 1/2 inch pistol build. I had originally put a fire pig flash can it was still around 3 o’clock extraction after putting this H2 buffer in it went right to 4 o’clock perfect very good quality without breaking the bank.

Perfect weight

by -

I am always on a budget so I buy the least expensive parts usually. I order Expo parts because of that. For the price the quality is outstanding. I see no difference in this part compared to a big name part that costs 2-3 times what this costs. It weighs 4.6oz which is perfect for an H2. It is not marked but why care? I just got a marker and wrote H2 on it and saved a lot of money. Bottom line it functions perfect. It has smoothed out the action on my AR a great deal. I have no problem purchasing Expo arms parts and recommend them to anyone who is like me on a budget.

Yes indeed

by

Have 3 of these on 3 different builds, from 223 to 300blk and they work extremely well. Suppressed or not the buffer doesn’t spring with this weight. It’s run on my rifles shorter than 10.5in and am very happy with them

Good spares

Good spares for troubleshooting your gas system or tuning.
