Geissele Automatics SSA-E X Trigger with Lightning Bow

I installed the SSA-EX trigger into an Aero Precision Pro lower. Great fit! 200 rounds later this is the best trigger in my safe. Crisp, clean and did I mention good looking.

Primary Arms provides excellent customer service. These are good people to deal with. The SSA-E X trigger is of the quality one would expect from Geissele.

Picked this up on sale and it was absolutely worth the money. Easy to install, breaks like glass. Smooth as can be if even this is not on sale it would be well worth the money. Don’t second guess just buy. You won’t regret it.

Crisp, light, accurate. What more can I say. Bought it for my new aero/bcm 14.5" build. Second geissele trigger. First one was the SD-3G for my range toy. Love it.

TLDR: Want performance and reliability and dont care about the trigger shape? Get the SSA-E curved. Its much cheaper and the pull feels exactly the same. This isn't worth the cost increase IMO.

If you're looking for a fantastic trigger with mil-spec reliability then you should be looking at a Geissele. I previously bought the SSA-E and instantly fell in love with it. Fantastic performance, makes for stupid accurate shots and follow-ups. So I felt I wanted to up it and try the lightning X bow next. Had to be better for the cost right? Not really. Felt the same if not a little clunkier but maybe it's because of how new it is. But really I just feel like for the price jump, it wasn't worth it. Other companies make better flat triggers IMO, but they aren't truly mil-spec safe/reliable so I had hopes for this.

Still a great trigger but really just get the cheaper curved one and use that money saved towards ammo or an optic.

Been thru so many trigger brands. Bought 2 Geissele Super Duty rifles last year and feel in love with this trigger. The AR's came with this trigger and I was mad I didnt know about this trigger lol. I immediately switched all my AR 15 and AR10's to this trigger. Crisp, consistent and enjoyable you truly feel in control of your shots. Plus it looks super cool.

This is a good trigger. I already own one but found this one on sale and decided to get it for a 6MM ARC build I was doing. The service at Primary Arms is always phenomenal. Fast shipping.

By far the best trigger in the industry. I refer to the SSA-E X as the butter trigger, it is literally smooth as butter and so clean but yet crisp. No mush, I mean if you have been thinking about getting this trigger and have been hesitant, just do it and you won’t regret, as it is worth it, especially when PAs puts em on sale! Such a smooth and light pull it is as close to a single stage trigger as u can get while still being a 2 stage trigger with just enough travel. It is lightning fast but still has that incredibly small amount of take up for slowing down and taking that precision shot… I just purchased my 5th SSA-E X and love them! IMO, there is no other trigger that surpasses this one, as it is so consistent and reliable, with absolutely the best performance, again, in my opinion. Thank you Geissele for producing such a product, and thank you PRIMARY ARMS for being the #1 supplier for all things 2A.

Geissele has (in my opinion) some of the best triggers out there on the market. This one is no different! I love it, half of my firearms have a timney, the other half are geissele! This SSA-E X is probably my new favorite! So crisp and clean and absolutely consistent.

So yes this is the best trigger from Geissele it had a shorter reset than any of its other triggers.
