The Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun (SD-3G) Trigger is designed specifically for 3-gun competition where extremely fast follow-up shots in close quarters are required. It features and extremely short length of pull with a quick reset that puts it between a two-stage and single-stage trigger while still benefiting from the safety and reliability of a combat two-stage trigger. This trigger is non-adjustable, but it comes with two trigger springs so you can choose to have either a 4lb. or 3.25lb. pull weight. The SD-3G is the perfect edition to your race gun that will help you master rapid follow-up shots and target acquisition while under pressure from the timer.

Steep price but it's as good as it gets!

Great trigger, had a nickel Teflon coated milspec that worked really well but I put lighter hammer springs in to decrease weight, started getting light strikes occasionally. Put this trigger in and I love it, just a tad lighter than what I modified my other to but this one seems so fast and has such a clean, surprising break that I love! Really helped tighten my groups up.
FASTER than you think

One word....WOW! This trigger is amazing, crisp clean break, using the 3.5lb included trigger spring, I haven't used a trigger as perfect, and FAST as this one. Hands down I'll be putting this trigger in my other rifles. I also love the flat bow, Geissle nailed this one.

I have other triggers but........ This is my favorite trigger hands down! I still like my Hyper fire 24C but this is nicer.
Great trigger...but

This trigger is crazy quick. Short reset and fast. One drawback...precision shooting. When aiming for those 200-300yard shots for precision it sometimes bumpfires two very very fast shots. I'm sure following through and holding the rifle tighter to shoulder to fix this would suffice but I will be opting to go with a 2 stage SD-E Trigger.

I installed this in my competition rifle. I had a CMC single stage trigger in it for a while prior to installing this trigger. The resets are great and allow for high rates of fire. I went ahead and installed the lighter spring right from the get-go. I never had any issues with negligent discharges or bump fire; I think as long as you don't slap the trigger and keep to the basics you shouldn't have any issues either. Primary Arms had a GREAT deal and shipped fast. What more could you ask for?!

Holy hell is this a light trigger. Have SD-Enhanced, a couple SD-Combat, and I thought both of those models were heavier than expected. I wanted something lighter, so I opted for the SD-3G. It is scary light. In ready other reviews I'm starting to think mine is lighter than normal. It will go in a bench rest only gun, because it is way too light in my SHTF 308sbr.

This trigger has serious hammer follow issues. It will not go bang when you pull the trigger at the "wrong time."
I am not kidding and this is acknowledged by Geissele. When asked for a different model trigger they refused me since I did not buy from them directly.
This trigger is advertised as fast shooting and reliable. It literally jams every ~8 rounds on double taps/rapid fire.
STAY FAR AWAY. I shoot often and with a nice weapon, this is not a unique issue and Geissele is not standing behind their product.

I know everything about this trigger has been explained and repeated, but damn, I can't get enough of this thing. I have many different aftermarkets in many different rifles, but I keep coming back to this. My favorite. I already have two but need another. Primary Arms is killin' my wallet with these sale prices.

Best trigger that I have ever owned, hands down. Just as advertised by Geissele himself, it snaps like a carrot. I have read some of the negative reviews for this product and I have not had the same experiences whatsoever. Since installing this on my latest build I have seen noticeable improvements in accuracy, and I will probably put this trigger in every AR that I build moving forward.
Great Quality Trigger

This is an excellent trigger for competition/target shooting as recommended by Geissele. It is definitely NOT suitable for any sort of duty use. It is extremely light and susceptible to bumpfires under certain conditions. While shooting long distance, I inadvertently let a 2-3 round burst go. The heavier trigger is advertised as 4.5 pounds, but there is a statement on the packaging saying it may seem lower on certain rifles. With this trigger being flat, the perceived weight seems to be significantly less the lower you place your finger on the trigger(physics!). I’m not trying to bag on this trigger, as I absolutely love it, but I will have to swap it over to a rifle that is not used for duty.
