Second to none in regards quality
by Jose -
I am a big Magpul fan, but I decided to give Lancer Systems Magazines a fair try. I was NOT disappointed. The magazines are made of high quality polymer just the Magpul ones. The differences here are two: One, the magazines come with a steel piece to protect the lips of the magazine. the second one is the texture of the magazine which offers a very positive grip of the magazine in any condition. Definitely these magazines at up to par with Magpul magazines, you can go either way and you will be more than OK. the price difference between these and Magpul is negligible. I bought 5 or 6 of these magazines and I will planning on use them extensively, but I will remain a loyal buyer of all things Magpul ( Personal preference at this point) Buy these magazines with complete confidence and if you are lucky as I was, you can buy them while in sale. Last, the customer service of Primary Arms is absolutely first class. Kudos to the entire team of PA
A solid seond place

Yes, Magpul magazines are still the gold standard of AR magazine. However Lancer Systems magazines are in a close second place. You can’t go wrong with either Pmag mags or Lancer magazines. Excellent quality.

Quality product but overpriced in my opinion, so I only buy when on sale.
Performance & Quality
by Bryant Lewis -
Most of my AR-15 magazines work adequately. Metallics suffer from rough handling. Springs and followers vary by manufacturer. Composite/polymer mags vary in strength, ease of loading/unloading, "drop-free" removal, and secure retention of cartridges. The quality standard is probably Magpul Pmag's.
Lancer L5AWM 30rd AR-15 magazines excel in performance & longevity. Steel feed lips and magazine catch are solidly molded. Insertion is solid and drop free. Springs & followers travel freely. Loading, unloading, and chambering are smooth & reliable. Ergonomics (base plate, grip, ID markings, disassembly) are quite good.
Lancers weigh less, despite the toughest polymer & tool steel construction. I've dropped fully loaded Lancers from eye level onto concrete. Ammo & magazines remain intact with an occasional metal scratch, but no dings or dents. Pmags dont pass this test.
L5AWM, the Best AR 30 rd magazines.
