Heat radiant from barrel may warp polymer.

Today at the range, the front hand stop fell off. The front hand stop is held by an index ( ) MLOK and the other one Mlok screw set. I don't know if over tightened or the heat from the barrel radiate guard warp the poly plastic. I am running a Noveske Mlok NSR and a Larue Stealth Barrel. I wished they have a aluminum version soon.
Solid handstop choice for a STNGR rail

I've been looking for a handstop over the past few weeks to go on a 10.5 in 556 pistol build. I wanted to get away from the angled foregrip and I run Magpul m-lok vertical grips as sort of handstops in my 16in ARs.
This handstop kits works with Magpul branded handguards/foreends and also any m-lok handguard. I used this without the included adapter long piece on a 10in STNGR handguard and it seems to work great running right up to the low profile gas block which is carbine length. It isn't very long in between the finger stops so I sometimes put my pointer finger in front of the foward handstop piece to get a more comfortable grip. It's low profile enough on the m-lok rail that you could technically just use the front finger piece and keep it simple.

This fits comfortable in your hand and also works well with gloves and sweaty hands as the texture is rough and keeps your grip even in the hot sun.

It will serve a purpose. I mounted this kit on my Magpul M-LOK Mossberg 500 for-end which is polymer also. I would say its good to go. It will give me a good index point and something a bit more to grab when slammin the action to and fro. Fit is fine i suppose, although they do not need much tension... so adjust conservatively when mounting polymer to polymer. A good hint is that if the plastic is deforming and bending you are too tight! I probably wont take them off and on a whole bunch because it seems to just mar-up the plastic..... But I can imagine these things being SWEET on aluminum M-LOK rail.
