Details

The Primary Arms Deluxe AR-15 Scope Mount is ideal for M4, AR-15, and similar “flat-top” 1913 Picatinny mounting platforms. Aluminum construction, durable matte black anodized finish. 2.52 inches of clearance between the rings. Places the center of your 1 inch tube scope 1.5 inches above the rail. Fits scopes with 1 inch tubes. This tough mount features a lifetime warranty.

To make sure that the mount nut is fully tightened, turn the nut clockwise until resistance is encountered. After that, turn another 1/2 turn. If a torque wrench is being used, they recommend no more than 35-40 in-lbs.

Scope Mount Review

One of the mounting screws was slightly turned when it was seated at the manufacturer. Because of this it wouldn't rest squarely on the AR mounting rail. Therefore I had to drive the screw out and reset it in the mount which caused minor scaring.

Heavy weight AR scope mount

This is a very heavy and rugged scope mount with the emphasis on heavy... mine weighed in at over 15 ounces. That is almost a pound!!I am thinking of replacing one of mine with the Aero Precision offset mount. It weighs under 3 ounces. That's the kind weight difference that you can feel when handling your AR. That is a lot heft and I think that Primary Arms should list weights on this website. It probably would not have purchased the two that I have if I had known how much these things weigh. I like everything but the weight.From Primary Arms: Good advice; we will get the weights on the website. This one weighs in at 7.8 ounces.
