To make sure that the mount nut is fully tightened, turn the nut clockwise until resistance is encountered. After that, turn another 1/2 turn. If a torque wrench is being used, it is recommended no more than 35-40 in-lbs.

Updated Review!
by Jared -
The initial product I received had some minor screw issues, but everything was functional. I mentioned it in my initial review and a gentleman from Primary Arms reached out to me about it. After a brief talk about the issue, they sent me a new mount free of charge. The day after our talk the new one came in the mail and is flawless. I'm very impressed with the product and even more so with the customer service. My next purchase will definitely be from Primary Arms. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
Compares with higher dollar mounts

I've been a Vortex and Aero Precision liver for many years. Since I was buying a PA scope, I figured I'd try thier mount. It's a lot cheaper than the ones I'm accustomed to. When it came in, it mounted with no issues. I mounted it on a Ruger Precision rifle,. 22 cal. I used it to mount the PA Slx 4-14x44. No issues so far after about 500 rounds down range and plenty bumping it into stuff. Great buy for the money.
This thing ain't breaking

Solid, durable but slightly chunky in the weight department. Used this to mount an slx Nova 1-6 on a psa upper. Mount was free with a promo link from mrgunsngear's telegram channel. Make sure to use a torque wrench. 25lbs on the small screws and 60lbs on the cross bolts. Holds scope securely and keeps zero. Not a lightweight mount but built like a tank.
Cheap metal

Well, It looked good men I got it. After reading the directions I went to put in on, and the screws striped almost instantly. After feeling the slightest bit of resistance I gave it another half turn an it went righty loosey real quick. Don't waste your money, buy something with better quality.
We are happy that we could help you on this issue per our emails. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Good budget scope mount

Paired it with a FFP scope I purchased and have had no issues. Works great and holds zero for the scope. Just remember to loctite the screws!

Perfect partner

This mount, that was recommended by Primary Arms, is the perfect partner for the scope I purchased. Fun to work with people who want to help you.
Not what I thought....soft screws
by 59Beetle -
The mount has high reviews and that is why I bought it with my scope. I am a "hobbiest" mechanic and have a good amount of mechanical experience and tools. I also have probably mounted 50 scopes in my life so this was not my first rodeo.
I attempted to mount the mount and the bolt/screws stripped. I used a newer craftsman torque wrench set to 15 lbs. Both bolt/screws stripped at this setting. I tested the torque wrench and I saw no defect in how the wrench was working. The stripped threads on my mount are incredibly soft....like the composite metal never hardened due to too much soft material. I don't know what happened but I replaced the PA mount with another brand... used the same torque wrench and had no issues with a Vortex product. Mine is going back. I can say my experience with PA products otherwise has been quite positive.
