After rigorous field testing, this optic has been given a silver-tier rating by the National Tactical Officers Association.

This Primary Arms MicroPrism is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The SLx 3x MicroPrism is an all-new advanced optical system that combines the compact, lightweight size of a microdot with the durability and precision of a 3x magnified optic. The SLx 3x MicroPrism offers 13 illumination settings with AutoLive® motion-sensing on/off technology and multiple night vision compatibility options.

Weighing under 8oz, the SLx 3x MicroPrism is smaller and lighter than many red dot sights and features crystal-clear glass with 3x magnification for improved precision at distance. Even in close-quarters, the optic’s wide field-of-view and forgiving eye relief make it easy to snap on target.

Because the SLx 3x MicroPrism uses an etched reticle with adjustable diopter, the user will always have a clear, crisp reticle image, even if they have severe astigmatism. When set to max illumination, the MicroPrism reticle is fully daylight bright. For low-light, this optic offers 3 different NV-compatible settings, accommodating any ambient light level. Paired with the AutoLive® motion-sensing illumination technology, this optic provides an exceptionally long runtime at any brightness setting.

This package also includes the new ruggedized mounting system with industry standard mini-prism footprint, guaranteeing reliability and zero retention through heavy use and adverse conditions. Out of the box, this mount can be set for 8 different mounting heights and configurations, ensuring compatibility with any rifle system.

Best for the money

by -

I had a tough time trying to not compare this optic to an ACOG. It is that good. For a little over $300, I got the best optic for the money. Eye relief, weight, and profile are great. I can't see any difference in color when looking through the glass, and the only negative I have to say is that this glass isn't as clear as a Trijicon ACOG, but that comes at over $1k. I highly recommend this optic.

Best Close Quarters Optic

by

I put mine on my Sig 716i .308win and it's the perfect optic. Tried regular Sig Red Dot (no) ..Tried 1x8 Optics with ACS (no). This thing is fast and accurate. I set it up like instructed and it is DEAD-ON all the way out to 350yds ... shooting A-Zone Steel Targets. Have now installed 2/3 size IPSC targets out to 500yds. ... will see if everything still hold true. Give it a try.

Incredible optic for the money

by -

I feel like I have to compare this to ACOGs because of how nice this microprism is. You get very generous eye relief, super lightweight and compact, while giving you an awesome reticle and clarity. Now the clarity isn't as good as something like a Trijicon TA11 but this is so much more worth while being a fraction of the cost. If you are on the fence about this optic, just go ahead and give it a try.

A Great Optic

by

An excellent CQB sight system with enough precision to get solid hits on the E silhouette at 300M or further. Used a carbine with home-rolled MK262 and had accuracy that was more than adequate to "take out the trash" in an urban environment. Let me burn out a barrel or two and I will do a follow-up.

My Favorite Sight!

by

This is my favorite sight hands down! It used to be the Sig and Holosun red dots with the Eotech style reticle but have getting my first micro 3x, I feel in love with it. The BDC Reticle is awesome, magnification is just enough, etched reticle, small and compact, lightweight AND motion activation! I really like the idea of an LPVO but don't like the idea of adding a pound and a half to my rifle. This checks all my boxes. On my 3rd one, the illumination dial is mushy and doesn't come on without wiggling. Currently waiting on RMA but have no doubt that I will be taken care of. The hardest part for me, is, how short of a barrel can I justify using a 3x optic with! 😆

Fantastic value for the prism

by

This little optic is the future of prism sights. I got this 3x at a amazing deal for open box but even at full price this little guy is worth the money. Better glass than my vortex strike eagle gen 3 and you can tell this optic will take a beating. This is my first primary arms optic and won’t be my last!

Quality optic

by

Amazing glass quality, light weight, and sturdy. I'll definitely be buying another.

Worth every penny

by

I have primary arms optics on three of my guns. Best bang for your buck. This one I am obsessed with. Light weight and optic is crystal clear.

Very Surprised

by

Great Optic, it reminds me of a ACOG but at 80% less cost. Mount pairs great with Trijicon High Bobro QD mount, seems like 2.26” or higher height for you Unity Fans (I am). Set mine up with a 45 offset RMR, the mount that you can buy only fits a RMRcc which I didn’t realize was a new RMR mount. Wish they offered with a Type 2 RMR base 45 offset.

competitve prism optic, with a few odd quirks

by

the SLX 3x microprism is an exceptionally light weight weapons optic that offers good glass clarity and magnification coupled with a good FOV at 100 yards and eye relief when compared to other higher end prism optics of the same magnification. the SLX also has NV compatible settings, however these settings aren't particularly useful and beyond that several portions of the anodization on the optic glow fairly bright when viewed under NV, particularly the rear diopter area, brightness adjuster, spacers, and zeroing turrets.
overall a great optic that has weird vestigial NV settings that don't really work.
