After rigorous field testing, this optic has been given a silver-tier rating by the National Tactical Officers Association.

This Primary Arms MicroPrism is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The SLx 3x MicroPrism is an all-new advanced optical system that combines the compact, lightweight size of a microdot with the durability and precision of a 3x magnified optic. The SLx 3x MicroPrism offers 13 illumination settings with AutoLive® motion-sensing on/off technology and multiple night vision compatibility options.

Weighing under 8oz, the SLx 3x MicroPrism is smaller and lighter than many red dot sights and features crystal-clear glass with 3x magnification for improved precision at distance. Even in close-quarters, the optic’s wide field-of-view and forgiving eye relief make it easy to snap on target.

Because the SLx 3x MicroPrism uses an etched reticle with adjustable diopter, the user will always have a clear, crisp reticle image, even if they have severe astigmatism. When set to max illumination, the MicroPrism reticle is fully daylight bright. For low-light, this optic offers 3 different NV-compatible settings, accommodating any ambient light level. Paired with the AutoLive® motion-sensing illumination technology, this optic provides an exceptionally long runtime at any brightness setting.

This package also includes the new ruggedized mounting system with industry standard mini-prism footprint, guaranteeing reliability and zero retention through heavy use and adverse conditions. Out of the box, this mount can be set for 8 different mounting heights and configurations, ensuring compatibility with any rifle system.

Awesome Optic!

by

Fantastic quality optic! Build is great, compact/lightness is great! The mount options are a nice plus! My only gripe is I wish the eye relief was slightly better. I have it all the way back on my AR. Which is fine, but cant run backup sights because I need to have the optic mounted so far back to see. Luckily the optic is etched so I don't really need backups. PA is great tooo because though my tyrannical state of IL outlawed items they ship right to my door and i really appreciate that!

Well Worth the Money

by -

Don’t think twice about buying this. This has an incredible reticle, small and easy to adjust for zeroing, and includes lots of mounting options. I can’t think of anything on the market in 3X that’s a better deal. I was hitting steel out to 450 yards with no trouble but that’s an extreme for me.

Simple, Minimalist Perfection

by

Lightweight - The lightest option (I think) that enables a magnified aiming solution.

Simple - Fixed magnification, auto shutoff illumination, and a simple BDC reticle. This combination of features promotes simplicity, which promotes speed.

Glass - Sharp reticle and excellent clarity, color, and light transmission.

Mounting - No issues. Mounts are "stackable" meaning they can be combined to push the optic further up and back, enabling a more natural and upright head position (helps defeat minor eye box constraints).

Illumination - Bright enough for typical intents. Leave it on at moderate brightness, as the auto-shutoff activates at 2 minutes, then again after the system is touched.

Durability - No issues thus far.

Due to the combination of the above attributes, This has become a favorite optic for an ultralight general-purpose setup where simplicity is key in addition to having a touch of magnification. Solid work, PA.

Ultralight Magnification

by

Glass: Very clear with a nice field of view and good color / light transmission.

Reticle: Nice, quick, and simple.

Eye box: Slightly limited, but for what you're getting, it's a fantastic balance.

Mount: They're stackable! This means you can get the optic perfectly positioned to mitigate the aforementioned limitations with the eye box and to retain a somewhat neutral head position while utilizing the optic. Screws are pre-loaded with Loctite which is appreciated.

This is THE way to get an ultralight, simple, rugged, and minimalistic magnified aiming solution on your rig, and you are able to do so at a great price. Thanks for another great offering, PA!

Great scope for an AR-15

by -

I purchased this for a new AR-15 build. Liked the size and reviews i found on line. Installed in December, sighted in and no issues. Clear glass, easy to use and was nice for 200 yard shooting. After a few trips to the range I placed it in the safe. Took it out a few weeks ago and it would not hold zero. Contacted Customer service, they sent Return Authorization and within a week of it arriving at their facility I had a brand new scope and was back up and running. Primary Arms optics are top notch and they stand behind their products as well. Happy to be a return customer!!

Unbelievable!

by

This optic is incredible. Believe the hype. I bought the 1x version and was so impressed that I ordered the 3x shortly after. Honestly, I like the 3x even more for a general use 5.56 rifle. For just about anything other than fast and furious CQB, the 3x is going to dominate. The features, quality, compact size, light weight, and clarity is beyond impressive for the price. You will not be disappointed.

My “Go-To” Optic

by -

This is my “go-to” optic. The first thing is how durable it is, the design is very strong and sturdy. I prefer the straight riser because the cantilever doesn’t seem as strong as the straight riser. The ACSS Reticle is beyond amazing. Once I started using it, I only have Primary Arms ACSS reticles now on all my guns. The magnification is perfect, I prefer to have around 3x-4x because I can still get 500 yards and still use it at close range by focusing my left eye on the target and using my right eye for the illuminated reticle. The eye relief is great for a magnified prism, however, do not expect to purchase this and have the same eye relief as a red dot, holographic or even the Microprism 1x, you will be disappointed. That is just the nature of the magnified optic. The Primary Arms Microprism SLX 3x is the way to go in my opinion and I have already convinced others to purchase it too!

Love this on my M1A1 Socom 16

by

I purchased this for my M1A1 Socom 16 and Cogburn Arsenal makes a mount specifically for this optic and the M1A1. I loved my gun, but now I'm extremely happy. I cannot miss with this optic, it was the perfect choice and the price point is more than fair for the quality. I've already bought another one for the AK i'm building.

Great Optic

Got this little guy to put on my Ruger SFAR, after a few hundred rounds it is doing great. Holds zero and is crystal clear. Highly recommend!!

Great view.

I placed this on an a2 detachable carry handle. Since there’s no instructions, all you need is the washer and bolt add on which is sold at a discounted priced when u purchase the optic. You will have to remove the cantilever mount that comes attached and install the taller cantilever mount that is also included in the box. Then you bolt it down to the carry handle with the washer and bolt and a closed 5/16 wrench. It’s a great optic, I like the reticle, I like that it’s 3x magnifying and I can’t believe how small and light weight it is. Battery like is yet to be determined, but I think this is a lot of what people want for not a lot of money.
