The Streamlight TLR 1 HL Weapon Light is a high-performance lighting solution designed for firearms. Purchase this tactical light for my Glock 23 .40mm cal.I was blown away by the amount of light and distance that you can cover with this light on your gun for night protection. I am so happy with it that I purchase a second one at a better price with Primary Arms that what I got it with E-Bay! Trust me you will not regret it. The second one is for my Remington 870 12 gauge Marine Magnum Shotgun. Buying a third one, once Primary Arms puts it at the last sale price. Delivery was fast, customer service -OUTSTANDING!!

Swapped out 2 of my old 120 L TLR-1s mounted on my Glocks for the new HL version. Contrary to what some others say 640 Lumens is not too much for indoor use. The older TLR-1s is dim compared to this. Extremely bright while maintaining the same profile of the older version, so no need to change out Kydex holsters (Im talking to you Surefire!)

Streamlight arrived not working

This flashlight came with batteries and all but did not work. Called Primary Arms and they said to go buy more batteries and see if maybe it was just a bad batch of batteries. Of course that did not fix it. Called back and they said in order to get a new one they recommended going through streamlight. This was not a quick process. Would not recommend.

This is my second TLR-1HL. I have one on my duty weapon and now on my AR. The light weighs next to nothing and puts out more lumens then most lights 3 times its size/weight. I use this light in my county's S.O.T. and everyday duty use. You can not go wrong, buy from primary arms and you'll have it in just a couple days.

This light is much brighter than the several other cree C4 and C6 cheap lights I have. I just thought they were bright. The Streamlight is brighter and throws a uniform spot, a good close range aiming point. And you can feel the high quality in this light when you first take it out of the box. It has a easy, dependable, ergonomic switch. Fits compactly on my full size kimber 1911 and on my shorter Sig 239. It is easily operated using your trigger finger, right or left hand, slight movement up for momentary on or down to lock on. Also, I know it takes the recoil of a 45 and a 40. And Primary Arms has the easiest checkout and fastest processing and lowest shipping charge of any of the comparable companies I've dealt with in the last few months, and it still got here in 3 days. I plan to get another just like it for a Benelli M1 bedside gun and for a AR. And I will buy them from Primary Arms for sure.

This thing puts out tons of light. It has a wide spill and plenty of throw. It may be a little too bright for indoor use.
