Excellent version, good finish, low concussion, inexpensive!

by -

It's got what you need, a good balance of reduced muzzle rise, reduced recoil, but doesn't add noticeable concussion like another of mine did. Plus it's nicely made, looks nice with good finish, light in weight, so it's hardly adds weight out there, lastly it's quite affordable.

WOW!

SIG M400 TREAD BE WARNED

by

So far this thing is quite the muzzel device. Just be warned if you own a SIG tread this will not fit out of the box. This is SIG's fault for making the end of the barrel right before the threads start tapered. It requires a tapered cup sold from SIG in order to mount this on the rifle. As far as I could tell all the MPX and fancier SIG rifles come with this tapered cup in the box but the Tread searies of rifles to not. This part is actually pretty hard to find as SIG is always out of stock and not many people sell it. It may not be possible but if Priamry arms would sell it I would have ordered it through them but only could find it else where. Other than that the JCOMP works and looks fantastic.

Great Muzzle Device.

Fast shipping. Easy to navigate site. J Comp does a great job at mitigating recoil. Well made.

My Favorite Muzzle Device

This is my go to brake/comp. I have Strike Industries brakes on 6-7 of my ARs and 4 of them are JComps. Its very effective at mitigating both recoil and muzzle rise and you don't get the annoying back blast of air in your eyes and face that many brakes produce. The Jcomp for AK/AKMs is absolutely amazing and completely transforms that weapon.

Nothing Better for the Price!

by -

This is a terrific comp at an amazing price. I bought this primarily because I wanted a comp that didn't add a ton of weight since my build was focused on pinching ounces. This absolutely does not disappoint. I've had it on 2 builds of mine for a few years now (and about to buy a 3rd), and have put tons of rounds through it. Recoil management is phenomenal, and I know there are several reviews here saying that this is obnoxiously loud, but that is not my experience. Concussion is down from the average birdcage, and noise level is pretty average. I have not noticed any significant difference in the noise level, except that it's quieter than my brother's Lantac Dragon when they're shot back to back.

Anyway, it's very durable, and while it may not the best compensator you'll ever find, for the price and weight and quality, I really have a hard time buying any other muzzle devices.
