Details

The Aero Precision M5 Stripped Lower Receiver has been machined to MIL-SPEC tolerances and finish ensure the highest quality receiver. For best results, complete this lower receiver using the Aero Precision M5 Lower Parts Kit (sold separately) It is specifically designed to work with the M5 Lower Receiver and includes custom takedown and pivot pins as well as an extended magazine catch button. The M5 grip tang has been machined for a nylon tipped upper tensioning screw. This screw allows any slack present when assembled with an upper receiver to be adjusted out for a tight fit.

  • Compatible with standard DPMS .308 components and magazines
  • Bolt catch is threaded for an included screw pin (no roll pin required)
  • Integrated trigger guard
  • Selector markings will work with 45, 60 or 90-degree safety selectors
  • Accepts Battle Arms Development short throw safety selectors, but will work with any standard selector
  • Rear takedown pin detent hole is threaded for a 4-40 set screw
  • No gap with aftermarket pistol grips

This thing is awesome! Its great deal for budget-minded DIY'ers who enjoys the rare champagne-level find with PBR funds in their wallet. Looking forward to finishing my rifle with this lower.

Nice finish. Match perfectly with DPMS upper.Can use AR15 lower parts except the pivot/take down pins, bolt catch and magazine release.

Assembled perfectly with the aero m5 lpk. Ghost dpms pattern upper fits nice and tight. Great customer service at PA.

Nice lower.I bought the set. Lower uses proprietary magazine catch release. Aero or their dealers carry them. I cerrakoted my set. The build came out as good as they get.

Love Aero Precision products

Built two different rifles using these lowers along with Aero uppers, both builds came out perfect. Everything went together nicely, the fit, and finish was perfect, couldn't ask for anything better! Very happy with Aero Precision products so far.

Disappointing quality, limited customer support

Purchased this lower based on the many positive reviews and recommendations online. The lower arrived quickly (thanks PA). However, the tensioning screw was not fully threaded making it non-functional. I contacted Aero and they said there's nothing they can do to help because I live in MA. Fair point re: MA, but no excuse for not QA'ing this prior to shipping it out. So that's one star off. Second star off because it does not mate well with the Aero M5E1 upper I purchased. There is audible slop on both pins and you can see daylight between the upper and lower.

To recap: disappointing. Went Aero for quality and didn't get it. Hope your Aero experience is better.
