Solid Quality

This scope is incredible ! The free scope mount, and scope flip up lens covers at 399.00 in the deal is outstanding ! A terrific FFP scope !

Good but heavy.

by

It’s a solid scope. Clear glass. Bdc works pretty well. 55 grain better than 62. If you want a good range scope to get you out to 500 yards, this can do it. Shots out to 300 are easy with it. It is heavy enough that I don’t recommend for a general purpose rifle. The illumination is definitely not daylight bright.

Awesome LPVO

Great 1-6x scope so far. The 1x is great for close distance and quick target acqusition. The 6x is great for precision and accurate shots.

So good I bought another

Excellent optic at great price. After mounting on my AR I got one for my Tavor as well. Have over 500 rounds through each and zero holds and scope works as it should.

Great optic for a 5.56 carbine.

AR 15 optics.

The PA SLX 1-6x24 first focal plane raptor was a perfect choice for my vision. The clarity and reticle are outstanding! Once zeroed in, the BDC is very accurate. The range I shoot only reaches 350 yards. After using this optic, I have confidence that I could stretch it out to 600 yards. This is a great choice and price for a high quality optic.

4.5 out of 5

So this was the first scope I bought for my rifle after hearing lots of good things. Firstly it has been everything I was looking for in an LVPO and more. Clear glass, good reticle design and not too heavy. Also haven't had any issue having had it mounted to a rifle in 308. The only things that could be better were that the illuminated reticle seems to wash out and not be visible during bright day shooting, and there's no throw lever (although I do realize there are PA levers sold separately). Overall I am happy and would buy it again for other rifles.

1x6

Finally got to get out and do some training with the 1-6 FFP. Ran through 5-600 rounds on training day, from 5-400 yards with it, no issues. I was worried the reticle wouldn’t be visible limiting my ability to use in 1x. I’ve found on a cloudy day the reticle illumination isn’t really bright at all but the etching is dark enough I didn’t have an issue seeing it doing close range shooting on dark steel. Illumination is fine indoors or shooting in darker shady areas. Scope was plenty fast but I did have to work harder to get scope shadow under control. This is my first LVPO so it just needs to be trained on.

Took it out to 400 yards on an 18” AR platform and the ranging and holdover worked really well on an 18” wide target.

Overall I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

I’d suggest getting the additional throw lever as it makes it much faster and easier to change between magnification.

Platinum Series FFP LPVO

by -

I originally purchased a Primary Arms Platinum Series 1-8x24 FFP Scope(Griffin Reticle). The clarity of the optic and the quality of the build is astounding.

I then purchased a Silver Series optic (1-6x24 FFP Scope) and the clarity of the glass and the reticle were disappointing to me. Don’t get me wrong, I think for the price point it is one helluva bargain but I was spoiled by your Platinum Series Optics.

So I returned the Silver Series and bought another Platinum Series from your company. Your return policy and procedure was seemless and efficient. Your staff was courteous and helpful. I look forward to doing business with you folks in the future.

Happy Holidays and have a great New Year!

Best In Class

The glass is crystal clear, and the eye box very generous. I got another brand a few months back & returned it because I hated the eye relief and eyebox on it. I wanted to give LPVOs another try. The only 2 negative things I can honestly say is that some of the illumination levels could be much brighter. I don’t really notice the illumination below 4 or 5 (but 11 is definitely bright enough for the daylight). Fortunately the etched reticle works perfectly in daylight so it isn’t a huge deal. The only other negative thing is I wish they just added the throw lever in with it. I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered it and the nub on the magnification ring works, but the throw lever makes it much better (I’ve since ordered the throw lever)
So really it is a great scope, primary arms delivers a high quality product and makes it virtually impossible for any shooter to not be able to get their hands on a decent piece of glass without going broke.
