Spike's Tactical ST-T2 Tungsten Heavy Buffer - 4.0oz

The best T2 buffer for the money! It has tungsten powder instead of tungsten balls, which makes it much smoother!

Been using Spikes T2 buffers for the last few years.
Every rifle I build I put this one in or if I buy one I swap out the buffer tube for this.
Having compared factory buffers and this one I feel the difference in that it gives you much better recoil and cycle action.

I'm using ST-T2 with Rosco Pureblood 16" , BCM-BCG & Sprinco Red/White Carbine Buffer Spring.
Timing is perfection , action is smooth & recoail tamed with ST-T2 on board.
It's one soft shooter , a great upgrade coming from standred H1 buffer.

Since I purchased the first one, I've never used anything else. Really quiets the action, runs smooth and very affordable. It's a Spikes Tactical product and Primary Arms always ships fast. If you don't run one of these in your AR, you've gotta try it.

Excellent buffer. Less recoil and very smooth action. Ordered this late Monday night PA shipped it early Tuesday morning. During this covid-19 period when everyone else has a 15 day shipping delay I couldn't be happier.

PA did right by me by sending this and a new buffer spring out quickly after the initial package arrived damaged and had nothing in it. Kuddos to the company. The buffer itself seems to be very well constructed and I will update this review after I have done testing.

Great product. Had a stock PSA buffer that I replaced with this buffer. High quality and no rattles at all! Love how its marked on the outside as well so you can switch buffers quickly. If you have the money for it get one!

I recently had a hydraulic buffer and had issues, so I of course started looking for a new buffer. I fell upon the spikes tactical buffer. Once installed no issues with cycling or recoil, very easy to install very happy with the performance. Would recommend to others to buy. Product was of very good quality.

Took the advice of the reviewer below me and paired the ST T2 with a JP Tuned spring and it noticeably reduced the snappy recoil in my ar pistol. I initially wanted to reduce the sharp recoil, but not quite an over gassed system and decided to go with the buffer + spring instead of an adjustable gas block. I had a small concern that my ar would not run low pressured ammo with the combination, but the bolt locks back every time and brass is ejected around 3:30 to 4 o'clock.

Originally used the provided carbine buffer + milspec spring from KAK.
I'm currently running a KAK brace kit, ST T2 and JP tuned spring, 11.3" barrel with a pinned gas block from BA. I shot PMC bronze .223 and AE .223.

I was having a lot of recoil knocking me off target, especically in rapid succession. I was having misfires with the TulAmmo I was feeding it and the bolt was not setting as strong as I liked. With this buffer and a JP Tuned spring, recoil is virtually gone, sighting is far more improved, misfires gone and bolt sets strong. I love it. It is like night and day. No more sore shoulder after 100's of rounds through it. Also FedEx is the way to go. UPS lost my buffer and John from customer service got me replaced and Fedex delivered my box undamaged. Their customer service is top notch. I would recommend this for sure!
