The Strike Industries Enhanced Ultimate Dust Cover is the world's first quick disconnect ejection port cover for the AR-15! Manufactured from high-density Nylon polymer, the UDC will never corrode, rust, fade, or deform. It features an internal True Seal lip to better protect your rifle from the elements. A built-in adjustable detent screw allows you to easily compensate for receiver wear, or increase/decrease opening power.
The spring-loaded internal detent rod provides easy installation and take down, often taking just 5-10 seconds! This enhanced version is thinner, allowing greater compatibility with nearly any AR-15 upper receiver, including billet uppers, on the market as well as reducing the weight to a minimal 0.3 oz! The new design also features a cut-out window for easy installation or removal, all without impacting the True-Seal capabilities!

Looks and Functions Great

I decided to try this dust cover for one of my latest builds. I like the facg that it is an all in one package and installs so easy compared to the standard cover and c clamp. It also has that custom look.if they made these in billet it would be evn better but the polymer seems fine.

Didn't fit right

I installed this on a spikes upper receiver and there was a huge gap between the cover and receiver. It also would not snap shut very tight. I could tap the receiver on the palm of my and the cover would pop open. It looked great, just wish it fit properly. As usual primary arms was great.
Time will tell

I like these new port doors as they look very nice & can be changed out if needed w/o having to remove the barrel. As for the longevity of the polymer- only time will tell but so far so good!

I picked up this dust cover because it matched my YHM billet upper. It is plastic, but I don't think it's going to be a problem, and it installs very easily!
Looks good nad is very light

I'm running mine on a 300 blackout SBR and it has functioned flawlessly through about 100 rounds. It is very light but I am concerned about long term durability since it is made from polymer. At this price point, however, it is well worth the money- even if it has to be replaced every few years. I LOVE how easy the quick detach comes on and off without having to remove the handguards.
