The Anderson Manufacturing AR-15 Stripped Upper Receiver is built to MIL-SPEC. Crafted from a 7075-T6 aluminum forging and machined with M4 feed ramps. This stripped model does not include a forward assist or ejection port cover.

NOTE: Forward assist and ejection port cover sold separately.

Great deal

I bought two of these when they were on sale for $39.99! You just can't go wrong with a quality upper for 40 bucks!

Needed a bit of work to fit gas tube

I built the upper from Anderson with a barrel and tube from another upper I had. When putting on the gas block, the bolt gas key would hit the gas tube. I couldn't quite figure out why since they were all previously built parts which fit nicely. I had to take a micro file to the gas tube opening in the upper and open it just a bit wider. Works great though. I would not hesitate to buy another.

I got an Anderson Manufacturing stripped upper for less than Anderson Manufacturing had it their site, on sale. To top it off, the shipping was $9.00 less than it was from Anderson. I received the upper in 3 days. Great job!

pretty good for the price

I got this upper for 40 bucksplus shipping . It is in good shape. Haven't had a chance to put a parts kit on it, but I did test fit the barrel and bolts carrier group. The barrel slid right in. The bcg is a little snug. A little lube should take of that. Fits on the Anderson lower like a glove.

Very Happy

I got this upper to match my Anderson lower for my latest build. The fit and finish are perfect and it seems to be good quality. Since I haven't finished the build I can't give a full review. Together with Primary Arms fast shipping I'm very happy at this point.

Anderson receivers

I have built 5 rifles so far with Anderson upper and lower receivers. The front barrel extension on the upper receiver needs to be lapped but is an easy process. If you want a well fitting and made forged receiver get an Anderson. Best receivers for the money on the market. Barrel fit is excellent. I laugh at other peoples expensive receivers when my Anderson AR rifles out shoot them in multi- gun matches.
