Geissele Automatics G2S Two Stage AR-15 Trigger .154"

I bought this trigger on a special deal, but would gladly pay full price for it a second time. I also have the SSA-E, which is superb, but so light. The G2S requires just a little more pressure to break, once the slack is out. If I were going to put another trigger in a gun tomorrow it would definitely be a Geissele, and probably the G2S, and spend my extra $75+ elsewhere on the build instead of on a higher end trigger.

I now have 3 of the G2Ss in my builds! Great triggers with great feel! The only trigger for me! All purchased from Primary Arms!

So far I love the trigger. It’s a big upgrade from a Mil-spec trigger while keeping it “budget”. My only complaint is that the trigger I received had damaged packaging and it was missing the small hammer spring, patch, and sticker. Had to buy a replacement spring kit after I found out that my hammer spring would walk out and cause serious malfunctions.

I’ve used several and installed several and for a 2stage trigger.. it gets no smoother than this and pull is as sweet 4 1/2 roughly. You don’t want any easier. Do t waste your cash on much higher triggers when this when make you smile, for real! Plus PA is the fastest when shipping and you have it in 2 days if pay for it that way! Only way I roll!

Quick delivery and great service as always from Primary Arms! I just received my G2S today and installed it right away. This thing feels amazing compared to my single stage mill spec trigger. Some have said it feels a bit crunchy at first?....No way! Not like the mill spec I had in there! It feels great! Nice short take up on the first stage, and the second stage, a nice short and effortless, but crisp snap! Nice short audible and tactile reset. All around just a great feel. 100% happy. I can’t wait to get it to the range and put it through it’s paces. I have no doubt it will shine. If you’re new to AR’s (even if your not) and looking for a better trigger than your mill spec, and you’re thinking you need the higher priced 2 stage triggers in the $200 - $300 range, you don’t! Get this, save yourself a few bones, and I guarantee you’ll be a happy camper!

Will never shoot another milspec trigger again. The pull and feel of this trigger is best in class, no wonder everyone says Geissele is best trigger for AR

awesome trigger. the SSA might be a tad bit crisper/smoother but after you break this one in, you can't really tell the difference. at half the price of the SSA, there's no reason to buy any other trigger.

Clean, crisp break and solid reset. Geissele triggers are the golden standard for triggers. I'm using a G2S in a URGI build and have no complaints.

I have 2 SSA’s and am SSA-E. Great triggers. This one is great too. My intent was to put a SSA equivalent in a M&P 15-22 to give the same/similar trigger as my primary carbine for training purposes. The hammer sits too high in the reciver. It binds the bolt/carrier and won’t move freely. If you hold the trigger the bolt will stay to the rear and when you allow it to reset the bolt goes home. I didn’t live fire after the functions check I just removed and reinstalled the stock trigger. I figured it wasn’t worth the risk of a slam fire or worse. This isn’t a ding on Geissele it isn’t designed for the platform specifically. Just my observations. If you are having thoughts like mine that the SSA is too much trigger a. 22lr and was exited to see a Geissele offering in a palatable price point for a 22lr. You can keep looking. It will be taking up residence in my .300blk pistol so thats pretty cool in which it did perform flawlessly as expected.

This trigger is my first Geissele product. I decided to go with the G2S for the price. Install was a breeze. This trigger is one of the best I have used. I’m used to the old milspec triggers. Man I been missing out. Not grit or creep. Finger on the trigger, wall, and breaks smooth. Very tactile reset. I liked my first one so I bought a second. If this price range is that good then their higher end triggers won’t disappoint I’m sure of that. Best of all Primary Arms ships super fast and has lots of sales all the time. Buy one if you never had a great trigger other then milspec triggers. 👍👍
