Spike's Tactical ST-T2 Tungsten Heavy Buffer - 4.0oz
Details
Details
Each buffer is filled with high density tungsten powder and topped off with a MIL-SPEC bumper. Because of this, there aren’t any reciprocating weights inside to make a lot of noise and it also makes for a very smooth cycling rifle.
This 3.25" buffer is compatible with AR-15 MIL-SPEC and Commercial spec receiver extensions or 8" GI-spec AR-10/AR-308 receiver extensions.

Very nice!

Looks great and much smoother operation than standard buffer. Reduced recoil and sound when shooting. Highly recommend.

Love the T-2. Worked great I'm my AR-Pistol.
Spikes buffer

Lowers felt recoil on mid length. Primary Arms knows how to sell and ship. Will always give them a first look.
Nice upgrade

Makes a world of difference in a carbine length gas system
All Buffers are NOT the Same !!!
by Richard Stevens
Many people will claim all Buffers are relatively the same. Well, that's not the case with the Spikes T2 Buffer. For one, you will no longer hear that baby rattle other buffers make, due to the weights reciprocating in the buffer. The T2 definitely smoothed out the cycling of my BCG in a carbine length AR. I added a Tubbs flat wire Spring and now hear absolutely NO sound in the receiver extension tube...it's completely quiet. Nonetheless, I don't encounter muzzle rise either. The T2 Buffer from Spikes is well worth the money. PA is once again, awesome as always.
Using to cure overgassed rifle

Might be a band aid, so far cannot say it has solved all my issues, but it is a quality piece.
Seems to work...
by Howard Edwards
My rifle is an LR-308 with a carbine length gas block system. Cycling seems really 'hot' so this was my first attempt at rectifying it. Seems to have helped. Recoil not reduced so that I noticed but its not flattening out the neck of my brass anymore so, that's a good sign.
My second

My second build using this unit-great both times.
