Tapco AK Cage Muzzle Brake
by WARREN MARR
Although it appears to be a quality made product the threads doesn't match with the threads on my AK. Still waiting for a reply for a replacement.

expedient service, the only concern with my purchase waas that it seemed to have some scuffs on it but it doesnt affect how it performs. I am happy with my purchase
TAPCO 5 Slot AK Muzzle Brake
Great little muzzle device. Reminds me of the RPK74 muzzle brake. It works, affordable 922 compliant part and the price was right.
Basic muzzle brake for an AK

Looks much better then the factory AK slant muzzle brake. Makes bump fire slightly easier to manage.
I'm sure it is great, but

my WASR's booring cover is welded on, and after shooting the end that came with mine, I don't want to take it off (perfectly sighted, so why change it?), so this one will just be another part in my gun box.

Rough threads and wouldn't go on my Vepr FM easily. Had to run a tap through it to clean the threads up. It is a slightly smaller outer diameter than the authentic Rpk74m flash hider and the finish is some kind of phosphate instead of paint.
Works great to suppress flash!!!

I was looking for an inexpensive functional AK Flash Hider and came across a YouTube video: AK Muzzle Device Comparison by "Shooting Utah" who demonstrated the effectiveness of this brake. After getting it, I tested it in low light and was very impressed on how well it worked. I was also glad it had multiple detent pin locking notches that allowed me to attach it snug. As an added bonus, my Yugo AK Bayonet fits right over this brake allowing me to attach it to the rifle. I used a M14x1mm L/H threading Plug Tapping tool and used it to clear the threads on the flash hider to fully attach it on my AK. It turned out great.
SAM7r and Polish bayonet compatible

Threads on SAM7r no problem and allows me to use my polish bayonet.
