Don't buy.

Won't run tula ammo. Failures to extract. Fit and finish looks great. Brass case ammo runs 100%. Accuracy is 2.5". Not impressed

So far so good..

Despite some negative reviews, I gave it a try at the sale price. So far so good. Had this assembled with a clamping gas block and standard handguards. 100 or so rounds thru it without issues, steel and brass case. I just recently installed a FF rail and intend on checking accuracy. 4150 steel, nitride, and the 1/8 twist is the best feature in my opinion...

Stop the whining these are GREAT barrels!

All the whiny boohoo comments must be from in-experienced builders. All those items are just standard maintenance things you do with parts from ANY supplier. I have used $500 barrels that needed clean up, chamfering etc. These are solid well built barrels capable of sub-minute accuracy if we do our jobs. The ones I built for a good customer shot .750" groups at 100y. with 65gr. spbt Speer #1395 over 19.5gr. IMR 4195. They seem to like heavier bullets (ie 62 to68 grain) with fast burn powders. Have fun dudes! G>

Outstanding Barrel.

These are an Outstanding barrel for the money. I agree with some of the other reviews, STOP whining; you have no clue what you are talking about. For the money these are the finest barrels I have found to date. These Dimwits whining about burrs are absurd. That is normal with ANY barrel, each and every barrel requires proper break in. After the initial 250 rounds have been fired in proper sequence the entire weapon must be torn down completely for inspection and cleaning and YES I have had to unclog the gas system when using an $800 barrel. As for dimples they are completely unnecessary period !!
There are very High End barrel manufactures that do not dimple their barrels. Brownells and Midway USA sell jigs if you just have to have dimples. Spend less time crying and more time learning !

nice barrel.

no issues nice barrel. shot well,.. easy fit with GI upper.

Not the best QA

It's a decent enough barrel for the money. On mine, the barrel alignment pin was a too long to allow my barrel nut to go over it. I filed it down to make enough clearance.

Great Barrel

Needed a barrel to replace a 7.5" I sold, this was all I could get without waiting, glad I didn't. I just got back from the range it's just as accurate as my Faxon gunner that I took to compare, red dot on both. With lpvo I expect even better. I read all the complaints about not being dimpled, I've been building for years, I've always dimpled my own, including Faxons and Ballistic Advantage barrels. I won't hesitate to buy another one of these.

Diamondback .556 mid length barrel!

Ordered this barrel to convert a gas piston rifle to gas inpengment! Went together without a hitch and is very accurate! Received in short order.

Excellent barrel for the money

I am not sure what other's are complaining about, maybe I just got lucky? I had zero issues with this barrel, the finish looks great, and once I finally got out to the range, I was pleasantly surprised how well this shot. (Probably sub-MOA with a better shooter behind it.) These are great barrels for the money, at least mine was.

I bought a second one.

This is a follow up review to this barrel. I had the barrel with the crooked gas port. The accuracy was great so i kept the barrel. I ended up buying the same barrel again and the gas port was straight on 2nd one. It is also very accurate. I would recommend these barrels to anyone interested. If you get one, and it is not up to your expectations, send it back. 5 stars for the price. Lots of companies are charging way too much for AR parts.
