Holosun HE507C-GR-X2 Pistol Green Dot Sight - ACSS® Vulcan™ Reticle

I was hoping the fully enclosed model would be made with the green chevron, but went with this open emitter instead.

So far so good. Host pistol is the Sig M18 with a BoBro mounting plate.

Because of the plate, I was roughly 10” low at 25 yards, but still on target. A few revolutions on the elevation dial and I was grouping 4” groups.

Brought it in to 7-10 yards and the rounds were touching. Not bad for the first outing. 200+ rounds, no issues.

Follow the recommended torque specs and read the manual for auto-illumination / brightness features and timeout settings. ^ chevron is a good sighting system. Recommended.

Never had a red dot, but once I saw the ACSS reticle I knew I wanted to try that out. Recently got a new optics-ready pistol and I ordered this optic. Came well packaged with hardware and documentation. Mounted easily enough using the supplied hardware, and easy to use controls and great battery placement.

My only complaint is that while the supplied screws already have blue threadlocker applied to them, my optic was loose after my first range visit and only 50 round through it. It appeared to me that the factory-applied threadlocker was not disturbed or engaged during tightening. I re-installed the screws using my own Loctite Blue 248 glue stick. Torqued to spec and held up great after next range visit.

My only other issue is not with the optic it self, but with my eyes. Fired up the optic the first time and the chevron was "smeary". Was a bit better at the range, and I could change the "smear" depending on how I blinked. That tells me it's my eye, not the optic.

Excellent pistol red dot, chevron reticle is the way forward as it allows ranging...the large 250 MOA circle for new users is an excellent optic.

You can't beat the price for what you get. Love the Vulcan reticle, easy to install and having the battery on the side is OUTFRICKINGSTANDING. You don't need to remove the optic to change the battery if ever needed.

I have 3 of these now. I’ve replaced multiple other brands. After my first one went on and I used it I was sold. The ACSS reticle changes the game.

While presentation to target and ensuring muscle memory provides a repeated reticle acquisition giving the fastest acquisition, nobody is a robot exhibiting perfection. Especially under duress and adrenaline dump scenarios.

Enter this reticle halo to assist on a missed presentation.

This reticle is so incredible, so amazing that I bought an adapter plate to install it on my Sog P365x.

That’s my only complaint. That there isn’t a current (as of this Review) ACSS enabled dot for my Sig! I’ll buy one immediately when it comes out and move the current one to one my other firearms.

I liked this optic so much that I purchased another one a few weeks later. It's super intuitive and I've begun picking up my dot much quicker. I highly recommend this for beginners or advanced shooters.

I received this optic and all I can say is "WOW"..!!! It is better than I could ever have imagined. Have used it for 3 months now and have only great things to say about it, and at a fair price as well.

When I first got the red dot it was hazy on the right side but after carrying it a few times it seems that it has really cleared up and no I do not have a stigmatism.

Bought the open box to save some money. Works as advertised and fits tight on my Glock 24(lonewolf slide rmr cut). Gets brighter when outside from the sun. Adjustment were easy to line up with suppressor height sight. Well worth the money. Chevron is a plus.
