The revolutionary patented ACSS Vulcan reticle provides a large circle guiding the eyes towards the 10 MOA center chevron, eliminating one of the biggest challenges for shooters new to slide-mounted red dots. If you are off-center, a portion of this outer circle will appear in the window to give you an instant reference on how to get centered. The circle phases out of the sight window completely when the center chevron is properly aligned in the sight window. This patented reticle function significantly improves sight acquisition. It takes the common frustration of hunting for the center reticle out of the equation. Don't need the circle? It can be easily deactivated to extend the battery even further.

Great sight
by Gary
I will use this for a secondary sight on a AR10 style rifle. Side access battery, solar, Vulcan green dot with the corrective circle was perfect for me. I want another one.
A FANTASTIC sight, very impressed so far, like freaking voodoo

I've had the 507 w/the green Vulcan reticle mounted for around three weeks and have put a few boxes a week through it since then to familiarize myself with RDS pistol shooting. This is a FANTASTIC piece of hardware, and a particular value for the price point. Mounted on an old Gen 3 Glock 19 on a Brownell's slide, the chevron is REALLY easy to use. With a 25 yard zero, you can shoot dead on @ 20-25, with rounds hitting around an inch low @ 10 yards. Basically, impact is between the 'legs' of the chevron at that distance.
The BIG loop around the chevron is unseen if you're lining up your sight correctly, and it really CAN be used to "find the dot" if you're having trouble... but I really haven't found it to come up too much, it really IS that easy to find a sight picture.
I'm already planning on having my old Glock 26 milled for this exact same dot and fitting it ASAP to go back to that pistol for my EDC. GREAT sight.
Love the concept, but falls short if you have astigmatism

I did a lot of research before buying this optic, but I never specifically looked for issues that where eye related, lesson learned. I love the concept and the outer ring does make it faster to acquire the chevron, but the chevron itself isn’t useable if you have an astigmatism. The chevron looks like multiples of varying sizes stacked on top of one another, making it difficult to know where the true tip of the chevron is pointed. A standard dot would work better for someone with an astigmatism.
Fantastic product

Great product and I love the reticle!
Great product, with one thing I’m doubtful about
by Mike -
I have a red one offset-mount on my AR-15 and a green one stacked onto a PA SLx 5x prism on my SCAR 16s. I love the reticle design, being an ACSS chevron fan, and the circle does help “steer” you to the chevron. My only doubt is that both of mine seem to have a bit of ghosting or a slight double image.
That said, I wear progressive bifocals and have astigmatism in right eye (partially corrected by the glasses). So I’m not sure if people with decent vision would experience the same issue. The other possibility is that it’s a pistol sight and its being used much closer than intended, when mounted to a rifle scope, and perhaps that contributes 🤷🏻♂️. Just something to keep in mind.
ACSS Vulcan Reticle

Find it on sale and buy it! Buy it NOW!!!! I bought this to put on my wife's nightstand handgun. She LOVES the Chevron green reticle. She shoots the lights out to 25 yards. She had an SRO on her VP9 and did okay, but she is much better with the Vulcan reticle. She can find the chevron so much more quickly than the red dot on the SRO.
Good on a shot gun

Used gg&g mount for beretta a300, works nice with slugs out to 100 yards so far. Inside I get a weird double chevron reflection, but outside in full sun, very clear aiming point. I’m going to have to pick up a few more. Definitely better than Leupold delta point. Can’t go wrong with this optic
Outstanding

I am very happy with this reticle, compared to a single dot, the ACSS reticle is very intuitive and easy to rapidly acquire. Holosun makes a very high quality product.
A great product

This optic was exactly what I was looking for. I have astigmatism, and after trying both red and green reticles, I found that green was definitely easier for me to pick up. The ACSS Vulcan reticle is amazing. I transitioned to shooting with an optic after 24 years of irons, and was struggling to quickly pick up the dot. The outer ring helped with this immensely, and I noticed after many repetitions of drawing and presenting, it definitely helped me gain that muscle memory very quickly. I highly recommend this sight, especially for shooters who are transitioning from irons to optics.

Have a few red dots and this one by far has the best glass and reticle on the market for the price. And the solar fail-safe and shake awake is a must for today's red dot market. T thumbs up.
