Sharp and uncomfortable

I wanted to really like it....but...it's use is painful, the latch is sharp and just not a whole lot of fun to use. The finish is fairly poor after first use....not phosphate, it's painted. Nothing has beat my BCM's, the ARCH-EL being no exception. It is a OK charging handle if you have no other choice, or wear very thick gloves on a regular basis while shooting. And it is made in Taiwan.....buy USA!

I bought this handle for my BCM upper build thinking it would be a good middle ground between cheaper and more expensive charging handles. Installed it, lubed it and tested it maybe 10 times. After the 10 test charges I noticed the finish has almost completely wore off on the right side. Disappointing to say the least. Save your money and buy a quality charging handle.

Just what I needed

I saw a bunch of good reviews and it didnt cost more then I wanted to spend. I put it in my ruger 556 due to a scope making it hard to get to the charging handle. This has fit perfectly, I see no issue with it at all. Thinking i need to put some on my AR pistols.
Great for the money

This charging handle has become my go-to for less expensive builds, and for what primary arms runs them on sale for it's the easiest to justify upgrade on an AR. The latch is motion is smooth and easy to snatch, and has a nice texture for sweaty hands, etc. If this latch hurts your fingers then I'm not sure how you handle guns at all..... Yes the finish will start to wear eventually, but who cares? It stays hidden inside the upper 99% of the time. It's no BCM or Radian but for the price you really can't beat it.
Perfect if you run a scope on your AR.
