What a great CH, this piece cost me $12.99 and I am happy to say that, based on my experience, it works exactly as intended. The piece looks fine, no tooling marks or blemishes. It runs smoothly (i.e. when I am charging my AR-15) in all the rifles (POF P415 & a few BCA uppers) I have used it in. I replaced the latch with an extended charging handle latch, no issues with that process.

<br>Don't pay $50+ for a charging handle when you could easily turn this $12 one into an ambi/extended latch CH with minimal effort and $5 spent on a new latch. Budget does not mean "bad" if you do it right. Build your rifles with some fiscal intelligence.

Great standard charging handle. Can’t beat the price!!!!!

As others have mentioned, this charging handle fits real snug. I did not have any issues in an aero Precision upper, but it is definitely tight. Good quality finish, and appears to be well made.

Out of spec. My first build every thing when smoothly until I tried dropping in the bolt and charge handle. The charge handle would stick. I had to pry it out with a screw driver.

Put in a Radical Firearms upper. When closed the handle would bind or stick in the upper with varying degrees of bind. After test firing had to tap with a hammer to extract. Handle from my Oracle had worked flawlessly, so knew the problem was with the handle, not the upper. Realized that the area just ahead of the T handle was the problem area. Rather than send back, I just took a flat file to the area on both sides until it moved freely. Now I just need to touch up the shiny area. Not too big of a deal, but my nephew works a lot with ARs and he said he had never seen one do that. Not sure of DS Arms quality because their buffer tube assembly was perfect.

This charging handle is a basic mil-spec style. In my opinion there is little need for fancy charging handles at 3 or more times the price. This gets the job done just fine.

This ch is identical to the oem Colt ch i have. Ive been looking for a cheap standard ch for a long time and have been nothing but disappointed until now. I actually bent the latch on the "milspec" JSE one on the first charge. This DSA one is perfect and the 7075 Al wont let you down.
