Primary Arms 3X Red Dot Magnifier Gen III

NOTE: Make sure that the mount you choose is capable of interfacing with the 30mm ring on this magnifier, because the objective is larger than the 30mm mounting area. Mounts intended to just slip over a 30mm mounting area and tighten down will not work.

Ordered this one evening, it was shipped out three following morning. Super fast service. Magnifier is clear and seems well made. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great quality. Very clear optics. Works great with the PA Flip To Side mount.

Simple yet effective product. A lot cheaper then big name brands and works just as well. Of course I recommend it.
Acceptable Performance Considering the Price

Bought this along with the PA Gen III red dot as an interim optics solution for a new rifle. While it mostly functions as advertised I can't give it anything over three stars for a couple of reasons. For one the eye box is very small and the eye relief is extremely limited. I have the magnifier in a flip mount directly overtop of the folded rear sight and I can only run the stock out one or two positions. Secondly there was not quite enough internal adjustment to center the red dot in the middle of the magnifier. Doesn't really impact function but is kind of irritating to look at. Finally the little monkey metal adjustment knobs stripped out with a comparative minimum of effort while I was trying to center the dot. It's probably not going anywhere at this point. On the plus side the glass is reasonably clear focus adjusts easily and of course the price is right. Also the standard height PA flip to side mount is extremely solid. If you're on an extremely tight budget then go for it but otherwise I'd suggest trying the only slightly more expensive Burris or Vortex triplers.

Awesome!

Short Eye relief but that is fine with a proper hold on 5.56 NATO rifle. I pared it with a Vortex StrikeFire II no problem with alignment. The Spring on the flip to side mount was a little stiff at first but loosened up with a few uses. Sits with enough room over the rail for MagPul BUIS to lie in the un-deployed position.
Aimpoint PRO and Primary Arms standard height mount

These two line up perfectly and even hold up to the abuse of the Beowulf. I figured give them a chance after I received my FFP ACSS 4x14x44 scope and was extremely happy. Cant go wrong with the price either.
Great!

Just enough power to make 100 plus kills and more. It’s not the power, it’s the skills!
