The Primary Arms 1-6x24 second focal plane scope (Gen III) features the exclusive, patented Advanced Combined Sighting System reticle. Bullet drop compensation, wind holds, moving target leads and range estimation are seamlessly integrated into an easy to use, instinctive sighting system that is very fast from 0-300 yards and very accurate from 300-800 yards. The second focal plane design keeps the reticle the same size at all magnifications for quick acquisition at low power and advanced reticle functionality at 6x maximum power. This Scope is protected by the Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty. If a defect due to materials or workmanship, or even normal wear and tear, has caused your product to malfunction, Primary Arms will either repair or replace your product.

The flagship Gen II 1-6x24 is a tough act to follow, so Primary Arms worked hard to make incremental but real improvements. The Gen III is 18mm shorter (10.04in long), weighs 1.88 ounces less (16.9 oz. total), and has an additional 10 MOA of internal adjustment compared to the older model. The ACSS® reticle has also been improved, now featuring a chevron center aiming point rather than a dot.
Partial red reticle illumination is provided by a single (included) CR2032 battery, and a spare battery is included inside the windage turret cap. A total of 11 settings take the reticle all the way up to daylight bright. All lenses are fully multicoated for maximum light transmission and the 6063 aluminum body is Type II hard anodized in matte black.

Absolutely a great optic.

I spent a lot of time watching and reading reviews on this ACSS 1-6 scope. I also spent time researching the advantages and disadvantages of three types of optics, reflex, prism, and LPVOs finally deciding on this scope for my AR-15 .223/5.56. After putting it through its paces I am totally impressed. Great targeting at 100 yards, 50 yards and 10 yards for close contact practice. I have been especially interested in how it would perform at close range when compared to my red dot rifle. It performed extremely well. The circle, chevron reticle makes it very easy to acquire your target. Great reticle, clear glass and wide field of view a true winner. I have not shot longer distances yet but I am sure it will be a great performer there too. Great job Primary Arms.

I purchased this scope as a replacement for my 12.5 which had a different manufacturer scope that I had to return. First thing I’m pushing 60 so my eyes aren’t the greatest anymore but this scope is a great help. It was easy to mount and sight in but with my eyesight I still had issues eye relief was tricky to get dialed in then the acss reticule was tricky to keep in focus but it works could it be tweaked sure but for the younger ones I think it will work fine. Primary arms shipped it in record time and communication was spot on as always

As the title says it is an awesome scope and for the price a great deal. Bright, easy to use and so far holds zero. Would recommend and have purchased an additional Primary Arms scope because of my experience with this one.

Excellent scope! Primary arms has the be the best value purchase which is why I will keep using their scopes. Of course you can get nicer, you can find ones just as good (vortex is right in line), but the value proposition is here. I’d pass on better scopes for the reticle alone though. Pretty sweet reticle and is my favorite.
Anticipation

I heard so much about Priamay Arms scopes, especially the ones with ACSS. I was happy when I received the package containing it. I opened it up and examined every inch of the scope. It was just what I wanted. Then I looked at the bottom and discovered that it was made in China. Such a disappointment, because I thought it was made in the U.S.A. Oh well, I hope that it holds up to my torture. Not really happy.
Excellent value for the price

So I purchased this scope based on reviews that were stating it was just a tad better than the Vortex equivalent. So far the reviews appear to be on target...
Most all my other riflescopes are Vortex. This one does seem to have really clear glass, I love the reticle, but best of all is the windage and elevation adjustments are dead on the money.
When zeroing at the range my 1st shot was about 8 MOA right. I clicked in the offset and my second shot was dead on the vertical target line. I then clicked in the elevation offset and my 3rd shot was a bullseye dead center.
Clicks had a good tactile feel and solid and they were perfect.
The scope appears to be a solid performer on my AR-15.
