The humble microdot is a hard-to-beat package when you want speed without adding a lot of weight to your firearm. The venerable 30mm red dot is a great option for shooters who prefer to have speed AND a wide field of view through their optic. The SLx MD-25 is here to offer the perfect balance between the two with a compact design that weighs barely 2 ounces more than a standard microdot, yet offers the same field of view as a 30mm red dot! The SLx 25mm Red Dot been equipped with the next generation ruggedized mounting system. We’ve upgraded everything about the mount from materials and finish to the design to create a mount that will not just clamp securely to your rail, but stand up the rigors of real-world use. Integrated recoil lugs help lock your mount in place against the heaviest recoil while large diameter crossbolts give you significantly improved clamping power and will hold up to significant torque. The included riser is the perfect height for AR-15s and AR-10s, but can be easily removed to for installation on AKs, shotguns, and more.
The SLx 25mm red dot includes the low base, a standard riser, and two different height spacers, as well as appropriate mounting hardware. With just the low base, a central height of 0.96” can be achieved. Add the standard riser for 1.41”. With the riser and thin spacer, your central height will be 1.54”. Using the thick spacer will place the optic at 1.64” height. With these options you can easily configure your optic to perfectly match your firearm and shooting style.

Awesome red dot, best bang for the bucks

Pre-ordered this in May and it came in early June. I put it on my X95 right away and this thing rocks. Later I rattle can painted it to multicam and it looks even better. The 25mm objective lens make a big different when comparing to my Holosun red dots. Of course it is a bit heavier but who cares. I noticed that there's a small amount of blue-green tint to it, but it doesn't bother me. Over all great buy for the money, can't go wrong.

This is better than an MRO

I have this on a Foxtrot Mike 16” 9mm upper and absolutely love it. Did a side by side with this an MRO, and the PA SLx blows the MRO away.

Buy it if you can, this optic is clear and impressive. The other reviews pretty much covered it, and after buying one, the rating is rightfully earned. The product looks and feels like quality.
Perfect Budget Red Dot

This is the second red dot I've owned. It's a little bigger than my Vortex Crossfire II and other micro sized red dots, which gives it a better field of view. Having the dial on the left side makes adjustments with your support hand MUCH easier and faster. It also turns either way, which is a nice feature.
The mounts are super solid and (when using the high mount with the smaller spacer) it lines up perfectly with the PA 3x LER Magnifier mounted in the standard PA flip to side mount.
Most importantly though, it's held zero very well and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget red dot in the price range of $130-$180. For me, it beats out all the competition.
Great Red Dot

This red dot is really nice especially at this price point. The sight and mount are good quality and it was a breeze to zero. And it’s held up great so far and held zero perfectly. I have a Holosun 403c and it’s been a nice red dot also but I prefer the mount on the Primary Arms. This was my first Primary Arms optic but I’m sure it won’t be my last.
This is the one to get.

I've always been a fan of PA's red dot sights, this one though is the best I've seen. Durable, wide FOV, awesome battery life, what's not to like? I have two now and quality is on par with sights costing 3x as much. Thanks PA for such good products and prices.

If you like the micro red dot and the Aimpoint comp style then you will LOVE THIS. In MHO it's a cross between the two..... With the mount options that are included it is well worth it.
LENS COVERS are possible, use the butler creek #5 obj for the objective lens and the #3 obj for the ocular lens (you will have to trim it a .25" to fit it right, especially if using a magnifier behind it).
Don't like the dial

The dot itself is nice, I like the larger field of view, and the included riser and accessories are nice, but I liked the buttons on the MD-ADS better than this large rotary dial on the left side. It takes lots of clicking to get it to where you want it, and more importantly, it's on the left side of the optic which messes up my field of view when shooting with both eyes open. The other two micro red dots PA makes have this dial on the right side of the tube, which is preferred for a right eyed primary shooter. I also generally don't like the dial because I have to spin it probably 6-10 clicks to get to the settings I typically use. Some may leave it on all the time, but I don't care how long the thing lasts it doesn't seem prudent to just leave something on because you can.
Great for an AK

I slapped this on my Arsenal SAM7 a while ago now. I mounted it to an SLR Rifleworks railed gas tube. This optic can take the heat and it holds zero. Perfectly priced for an AK as well.
