Lucid Optics Rail Mounted 300 Lumen Weapon Light

This is a pretty neat light. Mounted in the 12 o clock position it operates perfectly with a C clamp style hold and illuminates your target perfectly. For short range work it could also function for a alternate aiming device. Mine has been very durable in the year that I have had it. The dual beam really lights up every corner of the room or structure providing wide field of illumination. It does have one fatal flaw though in my opinion. It has no momentary on. One push of the button creates a audible click and turns the light on, you must push again, which also clicks to turn off. The lack of momentary function really rules this light out for serious room clearing and home defense illumination. Also the click is loud enough to give your position away. If Lucid does a gen 2 I wish they would ad a momentary function so this light would really fit the bill for structure clearing work.
