Primaryarms.com is top notch. Super fast processing and shipping. Surefire scout...nothing better.
Awesome light, fast shipping
As you’d expect from Surefire, this light is top notch. Thumbscrew holds tight and secure, and the included 18650 rechargeable battery is a nice feature. Only issue I’d say I have is the pictures are slightly misleading. This shows that it includes a charger and wall style adapter and 12v adapter to recharge the batteries, but it does not, it only includes the micro usb cord to recharge the battery.
Bright and clean
Top notch light, probably the brightest and most well focused on the market. Excellent very low-profile mount keeps the weapon compact. The dual battery option is great and easy to make battery swaps while mounted. The downside is the price + the price of the (not included) remote switch. The remote switch price is almost robbery for what it is. The competition is including remote switches in lights half the price with only slightly less brightness, albeit not as precisely focused as the Surefire. This DF model is more user friendly and more effective than all other Surefire models. If money is no object, jump on this one.
Missing screws to mount!?!
by Brian -
Just received this ~$300 SureFire M600DF from Primary Arms, however quite disappointed that it was missing the screws to actually mount the light to the picatinny rail mount!? Since I have not been able to mount the light yet to my rifle, once I resolve the missing screws issue with Primary Arms or SureFire - I will update my review.
I already have the StreamLight ProTac HL-X that came with a pressure pad for about $100, whereas the SureFire M600DF (+screws?) is $250-300 plus an additional ~$100 for a pressure pad alone… I have yet to find the value in the SureFire other than ability to mount to other mounts (eg Trex extender).
We are happy that you have gotten this resolved. Please let us know if we may help you with anything.
