Radical Firearms 18" .223 Wylde 1:8 Rifle Length SPR Complete Upper - 15" KeyMod FHR Rail and Zero Impulse Brake
The Radical Hybrid Rail System offers a large 1.8” inside diameter that easily accommodates most suppressors. Lightening cuts along the rail reduce weight and aid in rapid cooling while KeyMod and Picatinny mounting points provide space for your favorite accessories. Features anti-rotation tabs, non-rotating QD sling mounts, and a tough hardcoat anodized finish.
The Zero Impulse Muzzle Brake offers recoil mitigation for the everyday shooter. Its unique design reduces the length of perceived recoil, allowing the shooter to stay on target. Even fully automatic fire is flattened by massively reducing recoil and muzzle climb ensuring that all rounds hit where the shooter is aiming.

Ratings & Reviews
Bought this and it works great and looks good matched with the primary arms 1-8 scope.

Great upper, functions amazingly. the rail was a little thicker than I like, so I swapped it out for a MI rail. But the rifle holds good groups.
Good accuracy, doesn't cycle.

Accuracy is great, but it doesn't cycle, so it functions like a bolt action. I checked the gas block alignment and tried four different types of ammo. Out of 235 rounds fired, I had 213 malfunctions for a 91% failure rate.

There were lots of failure to ejects, which rammed the spent case back in the breech and took a lot of work to get them out. It rarely locked the bolt back on the last round of the magazine when it did eject. I had a few double feeds, a few failure to feeds, one stove pipe, and one light strike.
Just like other reviewer said, doesn't cycle

I had the same problem the previous reviewer did in that no matter what type ammo I tried it would not cycle. Working with Radical warranty now to see if they will fix the issue. I have several Radical uppers and have had several problems right out of the box. I probably would not buy any more Radical products.
Accurate, reliable. Great beginner upper

Am writing this review after firing around 2000 rounds through this upper. I’ve used the cheapest wolf steel ammo to the expensive heavy match stuff, not one malfunction. Never has it ever failed to fire once. Also the accuracy is quite amazing, I have a terrible trigger in it right now but I can still easily get sub Moa at 150yds with some 70gr handloads. If I did have to complain though I would say the handgaurd is a little heavy but for my purposes it’s not a huge deal. Muzzle break on this upper works good too, almost no felt recoil or rise. I did change the break to a blast forward break because it throughs a pretty huge concussion wave and when shooting next to someone you might piss them off.

Only had very minor cycling problem at the beginning with only the last bullet of my mag. Haven’t had any problems since and I absolutely love the rail it comes with! Definitely recommend just run a bore snake through it 5-10 times before shooting and if you have cycling problems like some other people are talking about then I suggest trying a different bolt carrier group with it.
