Foxtrot Mike Products Complete 9mm AR-15 Upper 8.5" - 8" M-LOK Rail - Blast Diffuser

There's not much to say... this upper receiver is BAD ASS. Quality of construction is the best I've seen and rivals more popular and more expensive 9mm upper receivers.

I've paired this upper with a Ranier Arms lower fitted with a CMC AR-15 match flat trigger and a Sylvan Arms 9mm conversion block.

IT FUNCTIONS FLAWLESSLY!!! NO TUNING, NO ADJUSTMENTS, just swap upper, insert mag block and mag, chamber a round and you're ready to rock.

The blast diffuser is neat. I've never used one so I'm not sure if it's working the way it's suppose to, but it doesn't seem to affect the function at all.

I used this 8.5 complete upper matched with the FM billet lower and couldn't be more pleased! The quality is top notch and the function has been flawless! Go FM Products you won't be disappointed! Forgot to mention the customer service is also outstanding from both PA and FM Products!

I matched this 8.5 complete upper with an FM billet lower and have to say I'm very impressed! The quality is top notch and the forward charging handle is sweet! I've put about 500 rounds down range so far with not one failure. This gun thus far has exceeded my expectations! The customer service is top notch as well from both PA and FM.

I don't know if I have a bad batch, but it wouldn't fire Winchester ammo (brass or steel case). I have a stash of Winchester and Federal ammo from Walmart. This will fire Federal rounds. I even mixed Winchester and Federal in a magazine, and it will not fire the Winchester at all. Not even a dimple on the primer of the Winchester. Even after FM sent me a new firing pin, it will not fire the Winchester.

I have purchased two different Side Charging uppers.
This one is the Best I have seen and used.
My 1st one, from another company, you had to unscrew the side bolt to clean the Bolt Carrier Group, and the knob comes loose while shooting when you continue to screw and unscrew the side charge knob to clean the bolt Carrier group.
On the FM version, the side charge knob up toward the front does not need to be removed to slide out the Bolt Carrier group for cleaning.
Also, FM products has great customer service, I also bought there lower and they sent me spare parts until we had running like a Swiss watch. I highly recommend their Billet lower with any 9 mm upper.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I purchased two of these uppers and these things are hands down the best. I love the side charge feature towards the front. They’re light, slim and fits in your hand so natural that it’s just a good feel. Their made well and you can tell when your holding it. Just a really good product. This guy is on to something with these uppers and even though I’m not a competitive shooter I can easy see these uppers being run in the competitive world. They are fast!!! I’m very happy with my two uppers and everything else I’ve got from FM-products for that matter.

Great upper! Finish is amazing and it runs with any kind of ammo. I have yet to have any issues. Very we'll made. The firing pin and bcg is topnotch and only adds to the quality of FM products! And their customer service is icing on the cake.

I purchased this 8.5” upper after firing one at a 3GN event at VIR. Primary delivered as always. Being the stubborn tight ass that I am, I purchased a PSA lower for my build. I got it all together and had issues right away. I checked everything I could check and was completely baffled. I emailed Paul from FM Products and he was very helpful offering several suggestions and even told me if I couldn’t figure it out I could ship it to him and he would make sure it was right before he returned it. I knew there wasn’t a problem with his product at all and I should have been totally on my own with this problem. I will highly recommend them to anyone. Customer service like this is hard to find nowadays.

The fit and finish of this upper is very nice, the ability to move the charging handle over to the right side of the upper is a huge plus for left handed shooters. The only downside I have come across is that the front part of the rail, the first 4 or 5" inches is not usable. trying to mount any type of folding front sight post rubs against the charging handle, even ladder rail covers impact the operation of the forward charging handle. If you purchase this upper (which I would recommend) go into it knowing that you will need in use some type of optic which can be mounded more toward the rear.
